Students must have a passing grade in all classes and no discipline referrals for this year.
Develop leadership skills, promote positive community relations, involved in charitable organizations, develop emerging leaders who will be proficient in future careers in Marketing, Finance, Hospitality, Management and Entrepreneurship.
Science Olympiad Mrs. Mestres and Mr. Parker Every Tuesday from 3:15-4:15 Passing grade in all classes; no discipline referrals this year -To complete projects/experiments in all areas of science, including forensics, robotics, and engineering

-showcase at Newberry College in a competition with schools from around the state
National Technical Honor Society Areshia Masters and Leslie Fielder -At least 3 units of credit towards a state-recognized CATE program with at least a 3.5 in those courses; 3.0 overall

-Invitation only; $30 membership fee (one time); $12 fee for graduation cords
Awards Day
Book Club Marcia Kalayjian and Sue Anne Beym First Friday of each month in the library (all three lunches) None - Open to everyone Different theme every month; students choose their own books; many English teachers give extra credit for attendance
Spanish Club Ruth Higson and Roseliz Santiago Once a month (Mondays) Open to current and former Spanish students; $5.00 dues Activities depend on members; for several years students have participated in a cooking activity in the Culinary Arts room
Future Farmers of America (FFA) Henderson Rowe Monthly meetings (TBA) Must be enrolled in Agricultural Education; dues are $10.00 Develops leadership skills, personal growth, and career success
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FFA) Sharon Gregory and Erica Johnson Tuesdays at 3:10 in Room 409; alternating Thursdays at McDonald's in Clearwater (7 a.m.); MVHS library during all three lunches None See You at the Pole; Rally in the Valley; various ongoing community projects
