GOOD NEWS!

On Friday, May 10, the Mustang Players Drama Club competed in the Garcia Theatre Project One Act Festival at USC-Aiken and was awarded:

Runner up for Best Play - "The Actor's Nightmare"
Best Actor - Cameron Driver
Best Sound Technician - Emily Driver
All-Star Cast Member - Mercedes Egan
All-Star Cast Member - Taylor Coleman

Congratulations to these students and the entire cast and crew for their hard work.

On Saturday, May 11, the Midland Valley Concert Choir and Show Choir were represented at the 2013 Trills and Thrills Music Festival in Atlanta, GA.  The Concert Choir received a score of 94.5 and rated category (1) superior.  The Show Choir received a score of 89 and rated category (II) excellent.

Congratulations to these students for a job well-done!

The MVHS Relay for Life team's results for this year, once all donations have been processed, will be $1,596.  Ms. Watson and the team  would like to thank all faculty, staff, and student organizations that helped in the fight against cancer.

CONGRATULATIONS NJROTC!

MVHS NJROTC received the Unit Achievement Award for SY12-13. The award is for a combination of areas: school service, community service, competitive events in athletics, academics, drill, and rifle. Being recognized for this award marks MVHS as one of the top schools in the two-state area.
